Here’s an article I’d like to share with all of you about the overall, positive benefits of singing in a choir.

We welcome Patrick Solomon once again who will accompany our choir as Alex will be away at a family wedding that weekend.  As you may know, there is no Gloria sung during Advent so here’s the list as we discussed a few weeks ago, with two new hymns which we’ll learn from now till then.  Gather us In and Our God Reigns.  I look forward to seeing you all at the next choir practice on Thursday 20th November at 20.00 in the Lady Chapel. The St Joseph’s Singers, ready to perform our very first, “paid gig” for the Epsom Civic Society at their 75th Anniversary Dinner on 17th October 2014. The choir was superb, performing an eclectic, concert programme.  It was a joy to conduct you all. Thanks for the hard work and dedication you bring to our choir. Special thanks to our guest artists, mezzo-sopranos Elspeth Marrow and soprano Amelya Goldy – you all wowed the audience, big time.   After all that hard work it was time to celebrate with a drink at the Haywain pub just down the road – a wonderful way to end a brilliant evening.
